PRAYER JOURNAL - THE BLACK HORSE TO SIGNAL ECONOMIC JUSTICE & JUSTICE FOR JAMES COMEY!
The Lord showed me a BLACK HORSE last night 👀👀 After seeing Diana Larkin’s word today (included at end of post), I went back to the picture I took to see what Holy Spirit is revealing. NO MAN IS MORE POWERFUL THAN ALMIGHTY GOD. HE IS FOR US, SO WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? DECREE VICTORY IN JESUS NAME OVER EVERY PLAN OF THE ENEMY!!!
REVELATION 6:5-6 AMP “When He (the Lamb) broke open the third seal, I heard the third living creature call out, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse [of famine]; and the rider had in his hand a pair of scales (a balance). [Zech 6:1-8] And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius (a day’s wages), and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.” [2 Kin 6:25]”

The Name of the LORD.
Revelation and Self-Disclosure:
- Genesis 4:26 records that “people began to call upon the name of the LORD.”
- Exodus 3:13-15 links שֵׁם to YHWH’s covenant faithfulness: “This is My name forever.”
- Exodus 34:5-7 equates “the name of the LORD” with His proclaimed attributes—compassion, grace, justice.
Presence and Worship:
- Deuteronomy 12:5: Israel must seek “the place where the LORD your God will choose to establish His name.” The temple bears that name (1 Kings 8:29).
- Psalm 9:10 highlights trust: “Those who know Your name trust in You.”
- Proverbs 18:10 portrays safety: “The name of the LORD is a strong tower.”
Sanctity and Mission:
- The Aaronic benediction places the name on Israel (Numbers 6:27).

שִׂמְחָה (simchah) denotes the joy, gladness, or mirth that arises when the people of God experience His presence, provision, and promises.
Simchah describes an inner emotion expressed outwardly. It encompasses spontaneous elation (1 Samuel 18:6), communal festivity (Nehemiah 12:43), and solemn yet exuberant worship (2 Chronicles 30:26). It overlaps with gil (“rejoicing”), chedvah (“joy”), and sason (“exultation”), yet simchah often highlights celebration rooted in covenant fellowship.
Following the Red Sea 🌊🌊🌊 deliverance, Moses’ sister led Israel in song, and “Miriam the prophetess… sang to them” (Exodus 15:20-21). When the Law is renewed, “You shall rejoice before the LORD” (Deuteronomy 12:12). Covenant feasts—Passover, Weeks, Booths—were legislated seasons of simchah (Deuteronomy 16:14-15), ensuring that remembrance of redemption remained experiential, not merely intellectual.
Isaiah links simchah to reaping grain “as men rejoice when they divide the spoil” (Isaiah 9:3). The Feast of Tabernacles, occurring after ingathering, epitomizes this: “You will be completely joyful” (Deuteronomy 16:15). God’s material gifts are to be received with spiritual rejoicing that acknowledges the Giver.
Jeremiah foresees restoration when “the voice of joy and gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride” will be heard again in Judah (Jeremiah 33:11). Family celebration mirrors the covenant relationship between God and His people.
Zephaniah promises that the LORD “will rejoice over you with singing” (Zephaniah 3:17). Isaiah envisions ransomed pilgrims who “will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads” (Isaiah 35:10). This future-oriented joy enlarges Israel’s horizon beyond present distress.
Simchah is inseparable from covenant faithfulness. Moses warns that curses will overtake those who “did not serve the LORD your God with joy and gladness of heart” (Deuteronomy 28:47). Joyless obedience is disobedience; delight is the proper atmosphere of service.
When idolatry prevails, joy departs. Joel foretells, “Joy and gladness are cut off from the house of our God” (Joel 1:16). The absence of simchah signals divine displeasure. Thus loss of joy functions as a prophetic alarm calling the community back to repentance.
“Serve the LORD with gladness; come into His presence with joyful songs” (Psalm 100:2). These imperatives establish simchah as a moral obligation grounded in divine goodness.

Eight follows the fullness of seven and therefore carries connotations of a fresh start. After seven days of flooding, Noah waited “another seven days” (Genesis 8:10), and on the next day (effectively the eighth) the new era began as the dove returned no more.
Eight is the threshold of restoration.
Eight reminds believers that God’s redemptive plan moves beyond mere restoration to altogether new life.
