HEBREW. 1258
1258. barad בָּרַד
Meaning: hail
Strong’s Hebrew 1258 בָּרַד denotes the act of “hailing,” the descent of hail from heaven. The solitary occurrence of the verb in Isaiah 32:19 is set within a prophecy that contrasts coming judgment with ultimate restoration. Though the lexical form appears only once, the concept of hail is woven throughout Scripture as a vivid sign of divine intervention, most often connected to judgment but also to covenantal faithfulness and protection.
Isaiah 32 portrays the righteous reign of a coming king (verses 1–8), followed by warnings to complacent hearers (verses 9–14) and promises of the Spirit’s outpouring (verses 15–20). Within this section, verse 19 announces, “But hail will level the forest, and the city will sink into the valley.”. The verb “will hail” pictures a sudden, unstoppable storm flattening proud human achievements. Isaiah couples agricultural and architectural images to assure his audience that God will not allow wickedness to stand, even while He prepares a fertile future (verse 20).
ISAIAH 32 AMP Behold, a King will reign in righteousness, And princes will rule with justice. Each [one of them] will be like a hiding place from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry land, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched and weary land [to those who turn to them]. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen attentively. The heart (mind) of those who act impulsively will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hurry to speak clearly. The fool (the good-for-nothing) will no longer be called noble, Nor the rogue said to be generous. For the fool speaks nonsense, And his heart (mind) plans wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error concerning the Lord, To keep the craving of the hungry unsatisfied And to deprive the thirsty of drink. As for the rogue, his weapons are evil; He conceives wicked plans To ruin the poor with lies, Even when the plea of the needy one is just and right. But the noble man conceives noble and magnificent things; And he stands by what is noble and magnificent. ¶Rise up, you women who are carefree, And hear my voice, You confident and unsuspecting daughters! Listen to what I am saying. In little more than a year You will tremble [with anxiety], you unsuspecting and complacent women; For the vintage has ended, And the harvest will not come. Tremble, you women who are carefree; Tremble with fear, you complacent ones! Strip, undress and wear sackcloth on your waist [in grief], Beat your breasts [in mourning] for the beautiful fields, for the fruitful vine, For the land of my people growing over with thorns and briars— Yes, [mourn] for all the houses of joy in the joyous city. For the palace has been abandoned, the populated city deserted; The hill [of the city] and the watchtower have become caves [for wild animals] forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks, Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is valued as a forest. [Ps 104:30; Ezek 36:26, 27; 39:29; Zech 12:10] Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness will live in the fertile field. And the effect of righteousness will be peace, And the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. Then my people will live in a peaceful surrounding, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places. But it will hail, when the forest comes down, And the [capital] city will fall in utter humiliation. Blessed (happy, fortunate) are you who cast your seed upon all waters [when the river overflows its banks and irrigates the land], You who allow the ox and the donkey to roam freely.
Hail as a Divine Instrument of Judgment: Exodus 9:18–26 – During the seventh plague, hail cut down Egypt’s crops and livestock, demonstrating Yahweh’s supremacy over Pharaoh and the gods of nature. Joshua 10:11 – As Israel pursues the Amorite coalition, “the LORD hurled down large hailstones,” achieving what swords alone could not. Psalm 18:12–13; Psalm 78:47–48; Psalm 105:32 – The psalmists recall hail to rehearse God’s past acts and to encourage present trust.
Throughout these accounts, hail is more than weather; it is targeted, purposeful, and morally charged. God wields creation to vindicate His holiness and protect His covenant people.
Prophetic Imagery and Future Fulfillment: Prophets employ hail to forecast eschatological upheaval. In Isaiah 28:17 hail sweeps away refuge built on lies, while Ezekiel 13:11–13 warns false prophets that hail will expose flimsy walls of deception. Revelation 8:7 and Revelation 16:21 echo these themes, using hail in cosmic judgments that precede the new heaven and new earth. Isaiah 32:19 therefore participates in a larger prophetic chorus that anticipates both temporal and ultimate reckonings.
Historical and Environmental Background: Palestine’s climate seldom produces severe hailstorms, so when they occur the damage is memorable. The rarity heightens the sign value: an extraordinary weather event signals an extraordinary word from God. Ancient Near Eastern deities were often linked with storm phenomena, yet Israel’s Scriptures consistently attribute hail to the personal action of the LORD alone, underscoring monotheism against prevailing polytheism.
Christ-Centered Reflections: The same Lord who commands hail also bore our judgment at Calvary. The destructive storm in Isaiah 32:19 sits between promises of a righteous king (verse 1) and the Spirit’s outpouring (verse 15). Jesus Christ fulfills the kingship, endures the storm of wrath, and sends the Spirit, transforming judgment scenes into testimonies of grace for all who believe.

HOLY SPIRIT REVEALED THE NUMBER 82.
PSALM 82 NASB1995 God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers. How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah. Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High. Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes.” Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.”
HOLY SPIRIT REVEALED THE NUMBER 14 IN THE DATE.
JOEL 1:14 NASB1995 (including 14-15) Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land To the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord. Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
ZEPHANIAH 1:14 NASB1995 (including 14-18) Near is the great day of the Lord, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the Lord! In it the warrior cries out bitterly. A day of wrath is that day, A day of trouble and distress, A day of destruction and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of trumpet and battle cry Against the fortified cities And the high corner towers. I will bring distress on men So that they will walk like the blind, Because they have sinned against the Lord; And their blood will be poured out like dust And their flesh like dung. Neither their silver nor their gold Will be able to deliver them On the day of the Lord’s wrath; And all the earth will be devoured In the fire of His jealousy, For He will make a complete end, Indeed a terrifying one, Of all the inhabitants of the earth.”
HABAKKUK 2:14 NASB1995 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.

Let the diviners and astrologers call down fire! I AM A CONSUMING FIRE 🔥!!! The Day of the Lord is near. You will see much death, but DO NOT FEAR!!! I am protecting My children while meting out justice upon the wicked. You will only WATCH as the wicked receive their harvest. Those who sow the wind reap the whirlwind!!! And my children who have sown in tears with a reap a harvest of JOY!! Unspeakable joy!!! Count it a blessing to be a nation whose God is the Lord!! I have been speaking to you about COVENANT. Study it! I keep my covenant promises to a thousand generations! I expect the same from you! Adhering to My covenant allows Me to bless you. A new day is dawning. MESSAGE STARTED 2:13 AND ENDED AT 2:22
JOEL 2:13-22 NASB1995 “And rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil. Who knows whether He will not turn and relent And leave a blessing behind Him, Even a grain offering and a drink offering For the Lord your God? Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly, Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and the nursing infants. Let the bridegroom come out of his room And the bride out of her bridal chamber. Let the priests, the Lord’s ministers, Weep between the porch and the altar, And let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not make Your inheritance a reproach, A byword among the nations. Why should they among the peoples say, ‘Where is their God?’ ” Then the Lord will be zealous for His land And will have pity on His people. The Lord will answer and say to His people, “Behold, I am going to send you grain, new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied in full with them; And I will never again make you a reproach among the nations. But I will remove the northern army far from you, And I will drive it into a parched and desolate land, And its vanguard into the eastern sea, And its rear guard into the western sea. And its stench will arise and its foul smell will come up, For it has done great things.” Do not fear, O land, rejoice and be glad, For the Lord has done great things. Do not fear, beasts of the field, For the pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has borne its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.”

2176. zimrath זִמְרָת
Meaning: song, praise
זִמְרָת (zimrath) combines the ideas of musical praise and the victorious strength of God. In each of its three occurrences the word is paired with “salvation,” forming a poetic triad that exalts the LORD as both the source of deliverance and the inspiration of song. Zimrath thus speaks of the inseparable link between experiencing redemption and responding in worship.
Exodus 15:2—The triumphant “Song of the Sea” celebrates Israel’s rescue from Egypt: “The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation”.
WE ARE IN ANOTHER EXODUS .. A GREATER WORLDWIDE EXODUS .. GIVE GOD PRAISE AS YOU SEE HIS PLAGUE OF HAIL AND OTHER PLAGUES. REMEMBER THE PLAGUES DID NOT TOUCH HIS CHILDREN IN GOSHEN. PRAISE HIM FOR SAVING US FROM EVIL!!!
Psalm 118:14—Within the final Hallel psalm sung at great feasts: “The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation”.
Isaiah 12:2—A prophetic hymn anticipating the messianic age: “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. For the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and He also has become my salvation”.
Zimrath encapsulates the personal and communal testimony that God’s might is not abstract power but rescuing power. The Exodus context grounds salvation in historical reality, the Psalter frames it within ongoing covenant life, and Isaiah projects it into the future consummation. In all three, salvation (יְשׁוּעָה, yeshuah) is not earned but granted; song is the fitting response; strength is the enabling force. Together they affirm that redemption originates in God, is accomplished by God, and is celebrated to God.
Isaiah 12 places zimrath in a larger section (Isaiah 7–12) that culminates in the revelation of the reigning Branch (Isaiah 11). The salvation celebrated in the song thus points forward to the Messiah who embodies the Lord’s strength and secures everlasting deliverance. The New Testament writers echo this theme, seeing in Jesus Christ the fulfillment of the salvation that turns lament to praise (compare Luke 1:68-75; Revelation 15:3).
GREEK 2176
2176. euónumos εὐώνυμος
Meaning: left
Euōnymos denotes the “left” side in spatial orientation, standing in deliberate contrast to dexios, the “right.” In the New Testament the term is never used metaphorically alone; its meaning is shaped by the wider narrative in which right and left are set in tension—honor and disgrace, acceptance and rejection, blessing and judgment. The nine occurrences divide naturally into three thematic groups: requests for honor (Matthew 20:21-23; Mark 10:40), scenes of judgment (Matthew 25:33, 25:41), and descriptions of historical or apocalyptic setting (Matthew 27:38; Mark 15:27; Acts 21:3; Revelation 10:2).
When the mother of James and John asks that her sons may sit “one at Your right and the other at Your left in Your kingdom” (Matthew 20:21), she is seeking a share in royal authority. Jesus replies that such seats “belong to those for whom they have been prepared by My Father” (Matthew 20:23). By pairing right and left, the Lord teaches that all stations in glory are by sovereign appointment. The disciples’ grasping ambition is exposed, and the pathway to honor is redirected toward the cup of suffering (Mark 10:38-40). The left seat, though secondary to the right, is still a seat of privilege; yet it is not a prize for presumption but a grace bestowed.
The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats turns the earlier pursuit of distinction into a warning. “He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left” (Matthew 25:33). Those on the left hear the dreadful sentence, “Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). Here euōnymos is incontrovertibly associated with rejection and eternal loss. The spatial image crystallizes the moral divide: to be on Christ’s left in that day is to be outside His covenant mercies.
At Calvary two criminals are crucified “one on His right and one on His left” (Matthew 27:38; Mark 15:27). The Messiah is enthroned on a cross, and the coveted places next to Him are occupied, not by ambitious apostles, but by condemned malefactors—an ironic fulfillment of the earlier request. Luke records that one of those criminals believed (Luke 23:39-43), underscoring that physical nearness is not salvific; repentance and faith alone secure eternal fellowship.
Throughout Scripture the right hand is the emblem of power and favor (Psalm 110:1; Hebrews 1:3). The left side is consequently the lesser place, yet its significance is derivative, not inherently evil. The usage pattern in the New Testament mirrors this broader biblical idiom:
• Right = honor, authority, salvation.
• Left = subordinate position and, when contrasted at judgment, condemnation.
The dichotomy is ethical only when tied to the moral acts of the persons placed there. Geography and orientation remain value-neutral.
Euōnymos serves as far more than a mere directional term. Its nine New Testament appearances weave through aspiration, crucifixion, navigation, judgment, and cosmic disclosure. Each occurrence, whether mundane or majestic, ultimately magnifies the authority of Christ, who alone assigns places in His kingdom, wields judgment, and claims dominion over land and sea.

HEBREW 2184
2184. zenuth זְנוּת
Meaning: whoredom, harlotry, prostitution, fornication, unfaithfulness
זְנוּת stands for prostitution or whoredom, but in Scripture it regularly widens to signify covenant-breaking and spiritual infidelity. Whether applied to literal sexual sin or to idolatry, the term always marks a breach of exclusive devotion owed to the LORD.
Generational Consequences of Spiritual Infidelity: Numbers 14:33 warns, “Your children will be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years and bear the penalty for your whoredom.” Faithlessness forfeits inheritance and burdens the next generation. The verse frames זְנוּת as a communal sin with long-range fallout, not merely a private failing.
Prophetic Exposure of National Apostasy: Jeremiah 13:27 cries, “Your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution … I have seen your detestable acts.” Ezekiel 23:27 forecasts that the LORD Himself will “put an end to your lewdness and prostitution.” The prophets refuse to separate public policy, temple ritual, and personal morality; all sit under one covenant, so violation in any sphere is labeled זְנוּת.
Relationship to Idolatry and Cultic Prostitution: Because Canaanite religion employed ritual sex to secure fertility, Israel’s lapse into Baal and Asherah worship often involved literal harlotry. Ezekiel 43:7 links “prostitution” with “funeral offerings for their kings at their high places,” tying sexual perversion to political-religious syncretism. The impurity threatened the very sanctity of the future temple.
Impact on Covenant Land and Sanctuary: Jeremiah 3:9 states that Israel “defiled the land” by her prostitution. Ezekiel 43:7–9 repeats the concern for holy space. Land and sanctuary are not neutral geography; they manifest God’s dwelling among His people. זְנוּת pollutes what is intended to be holy, necessitating exile and temple cleansing.
Eschatological Hope and Restoration: While judgment dominates these passages, hope glimmers. Ezekiel 43:9 promises, “Now let them put away their prostitution … and I will dwell among them forever.” The remedy is repentance that leads to renewed presence. The New Covenant ultimately answers the problem, as Christ “loved the church and gave Himself up for her … to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish” (Ephesians 5:25–27).
