PRAYER JOURNAL - KING HEZEKIAH IN THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES!
Timestamp 7:21 on this photo and he looks like Hezekiah.
NEHEMIAH 7:21 AMPC The sons of Ater, namely of Hezekiah, 98.
Hezekiah is spoken of as a great and good king. In public life he followed the example of his great-grandfather Uzziah. He set himself to abolish idolatry from his kingdom, and among other things which he did for this end, he destroyed the "brazen serpent," which had been removed to Jerusalem, and had become an object of idolatrous worship ( Numbers 21:9 ). A great reformation was wrought in the kingdom of Judah in his day ( 2 Kings 18:4 ; 2 Chr 29:3-36 ).
Sennacherib dealt treacherously with Hezekiah ( Isaiah 33:1 ), and a second time within two years invaded his kingdom ( 2 Kings 18:17 ; 2 Chr 32:9 ; Isaiah 36 ). This invasion issued in the destruction of Sennacherib's army. Hezekiah prayed to God, and "that night the angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians 185,000 men."
He closed his days in peace and prosperity, and was succeeded by his son Manasseh. 👀👀👀
My friend Sara on X replied with this ..
BLOGGER NOTED THE TIME I STARTED THIS POST WAS 1:06 (16).
2 KINGS 18 VERSE 16 AMP At that time Hezekiah cut away the gold framework from the doors of the temple of the LORD and from the doorposts which he has overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria. UMMMM THAT IS THE SAME EXACT SCRIPTURE SARA MENTIONED 3 DAYS AGO WHEN SHE REPLIED TO MY POST. 👀👀
"If you openly declare Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
Romans 10:9-11
