PRAYER JOURNAL - ABEL IN THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES

I walked out my back door and saw this man's face in the sky this morning. The timestamp on the photo I took of him is 11:51 and identifies him as ABEL 👉🏻 LUKE 11:51 From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah [the priest], who was murdered between the altar and the house of God. Yes, I tell you, charges will be brought against this generation.

Interesting .. the Lord highlighted the part of my prayers that mentions the BLOOD OF ABEL with 3:33 after I was shown Abel today 👀

I HAD AN UNCTION TO LOOK UP LESSONS WE CAN LEARN FROM ABEL:

A Call for Justice and Divine Knowledge: Abel's blood cries out for justice, emphasizing that God is aware of all injustices and hidden sins.

The Power of Faith in Worship: Abel's offering was accepted because it was offered in faith, whereas Cain's was not, demonstrating that God prioritizes a trusting heart over mere ritual.

Faithfulness to the Point of Death: Abel is recognized as the first martyr, showcasing that righteous living may lead to persecution by those unwilling to submit to God.

The Contrast with Christ's Blood: While Abel's blood cries for vengeance against a murderer, the blood of Jesus speaks "better things," offering forgiveness, mercy, and redemption.

The Enduring Testimony: Though physically dead, the faith and blood of Abel still speak as a witness to the necessity of righteousness. 

"If you openly declare Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
