ROMANS 9:23 - GOD HAS GIVEN HIS ENEMIES MUCH TIME TO REPENT & HAS HARDENED THE HEARTS OF THOSE WHO WON'T!
AS I AM PUTTING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD THIS MORNING, THE TIME IS 9:23 AND IT CATCHES MY ATTENTION. I FEEL LED TO LOOK UP SCRIPTURE .. Romans 9:23 (I am including verses 16-28).
“So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.
For the Scriptures say that God told Pharaoh, “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth.”
So you see, God chooses to show mercy to some, and he chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen.
Well then, you might say, “Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven’t they simply done what he makes them do?”
No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God?
Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, “Why have you made me like this?” When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into?
In the same way, even though God has the right to show his anger and his power, he is very patient with those on whom his anger falls, who are destined for destruction.
He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory.
And we are among those whom he selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles.
Concerning the Gentiles, God says in the prophecy of Hosea, “Those who were not my people, I will now call my people. And I will love those whom I did not love before.”
And, “Then, at the place where they were told, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”
And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out, “Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth quickly and with finality.””
Romans 9:16-28 NLT
GOD HAS GIVEN HIS ENEMIES MUCH TIME TO REPENT & CHANGE THEIR HEARTS (it just thundered 👀) .. BUT THEY HAVE REFUSED SO GOD WILL LET THEM GO THE WAY OF DESTRUCTION. HE HAS HARDENED THEIR HEARTS LIKE PHARAOH SO THAT HIS POWER & GLORY MAY BE DISPLAYED.
AND GOD HAS CHOSEN A REMNANT .. VESSELS OF MERCY .. TO RECEIVE HIS GLORY ✨ GOD’S GLORY IS THE VISIBLE MANIFESTATION OF HIS ATTRIBUTES & CHARACTER .. HIS ABSOLUTE GOODNESS, HIS LOVE, HIS GREATNESS, HIS HOLINESS, HIS BEAUTY, HIS PERFECTION, HIS POWER!!! IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO ADEQUATELY DESCRIBE .. THAT IS WHAT WE WHO BELIEVE ARE ABOUT TO RECEIVE!!!
AND GOD WILL SHOW MERCY TO HIS LOST SONS & DAUGHTERS .. THEY WILL ALSO BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD.
TIMESTAMP 12:06 (Psalm 126 .. IT WILL BE LIKE A DREAM ✨) AND TODAY IS AUG 21 (8/21 .. NEW BEGINNINGS .. 777)
“When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion (Jerusalem), We were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal].
Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad!
Restore our captivity, O Lord, As the stream-beds in the South (the Negev) [are restored by torrents of rain].
They who sow in tears shall reap with joyful singing.
He who goes back and forth weeping, carrying his bag of seed [for planting], Will indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY.
"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT
PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:
Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
