PSALM 112 - GOD'S PEOPLE DO NOT FEAR BAD NEWS OR EVIL TIDINGS!

AS I AM SITTING DOWN TO PRAY ☕️ AND ABOUT TO PUT THE ARMOR OF GOD ON .. IT IS 11:20 AND I FEEL HOLY SPIRIT NUDGING ME TO GO TO PSALM 112 AND AS I READ IT I FEEL THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. 

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD & OBEY HIM .. who REVERENCE Him with awe & wonder. 

THEY DO NOT FEAR BAD NEWS OR EVIL TIDINGS .. they trust in the Lord to save them from disaster.

THEY ARE CONFIDENT .. they look upon their enemies in triumph because they know how to use the weapons of their warfare & THEY KNOW THE LORD AND HIS ANGEL ARMIES ARE FIGHTING FOR THEM. 

AND WICKED MEN .. who carried out an evil plan THAT DID NOT PROSPER .. GRIT THEIR TEETH IN DESPAIR.

He is not afraid of bad news. His heart remains secure, full of confidence in the Lord. 

His heart is steady, and he is not afraid. In the end he will look triumphantly at his enemies. 

He gives freely to poor people. His righteousness continues forever. His head is raised in honor. 

The wicked person sees this and becomes angry. He angrily grits his teeth and disappears. The hope that wicked people have will vanish.”

And Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, will be their shield. Their slinging stones shall conquer and subdue the enemy, spilling their blood like wine from an overfilled bowl, like the blood that stains the corners of the altar. 

On that day, Yahweh their God will rescue them and make a way. For they are like a beloved flock of sheep to him, yes, precious like the gemstones of a diadem that will sparkle throughout his land. 

How beautiful and splendid they will be! Young men will flourish by eating the grain, and the maidens by drinking the new wine.”

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY.

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
