LUKE 11:10 - KEEP KNOCKING!!!

AS I SIT DOWN TO PRAY ☕️ THE TIME IS 11:10 AND I FEEL HOLY SPIRIT CONFIRMING IT IS SCRIPTURE 👉🏻 LUKE 11:10 (including verses 1-13). WOW! THIS IS A NOW WORD! 

JESUS TELLS US HOW TO PRAY TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER .. HE SAYS TO ASK THE FATHER FOR HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO CLEANSE US & FOR HIS KINGDOM TO MANIFEST ON THE EARTH 👀 .. TO PROVIDE FOR OUR NEEDS & RESCUE US FROM EVIL 👀 .. AND HE SAYS TO BE PERSISTENT!!! DON’T JUST ASK ONCE OR TWICE OR EVEN TEN TIMES .. KEEP KNOCKING ON GOD’S DOOR 🚪 .. HELLO GOD! IT’S ME AGAIN 😬 .. SHOW US YOUR GLORY LORD! FILL US WITH YOUR SPIRIT LORD! TURN UP YOUR POWER LORD! .. THE PERSISTENT PERSON WILL RECEIVE WHAT HE HAS ASKED FOR. PERSISTENT ONES WILL RECEIVE THE FULLNESS OF THE GIFTS OF HOLY SPIRIT. 

“One day, as Jesus was in prayer, one of his disciples came over to him as he finished and said, “Would you teach us a model prayer that we can pray, just as John did for his disciples?” 

So Jesus taught them this prayer: “Our heavenly Father, may the glory of your name be the center on which our life turns. May your Holy Spirit come upon us and cleanse us. Manifest your kingdom on earth. And give us our needed bread for the coming day. Forgive our sins as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us. And rescue us every time we face tribulations.” 

Then Jesus gave this illustration: “Imagine what would happen if you were to go to one of your friends in the middle of the night, pound on his door, and shout, ‘Please! Do you have some food you can spare? A friend just arrived at my house unexpectedly and I have nothing to serve him.’ But your friend says, ‘Why are you bothering me? The door is locked and my family and I are all in bed. Do you expect me to get up and give you our food?’ I tell you—because of your shameless persistence, even though it’s the middle of the night, your friend will get up out of his bed and give you all that you need. So it is with your prayers. Ask and you’ll receive. Seek and you’ll discover. Knock on heaven’s door, and it will one day open for you. Every persistent person will receive what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he needs. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door. 

“Let me ask you this: Do you know of any father who would give his son a snake on a plate when he asked for a serving of fish? Of course not! Do you know of any father who would give his daughter a spider when she had asked for an egg? Of course not! If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.””

“For example: The Spirit gives to one the gift of the word of wisdom. To another, the same Spirit gives the gift of the word of revelation knowledge. And to another, the same Spirit gives the gift of faith. And to another, the same Spirit gives gifts of healing. And to another the power to work miracles. And to another the gift of prophecy. And to another the gift to discern what the Spirit is speaking. And to another the gift of speaking different kinds of tongues. And to another the gift of interpretation of tongues. 

Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes, activates, and operates these different gifts as he chooses for each believer.”

I LOVE FURTHER DOWN IN THIS CHAPTER WHERE IT SAYS THIS THAT IS ALSO APPLICABLE TO THIS DAY WE ARE LIVING IN ..

" And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, And He will take away the disgrace of His people from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. It will be said in that day, "Indeed this is our God for whom we have waited that He would save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let us shout for joy and rejoice in His salvation."

THE OIL IS MATTHEW 25 IS THE "OIL OF INTIMACY" WITH HOLY SPIRIT. SPEND QUIET TIME WITH THE LORD EACH DAY & LET HIM FILL YOU WITH THE OIL OF HIS PRESENCE (THE ANOINTING). IT IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO SEEK AFTER AND BE PERSISTENT TO RECEIVE. YOU CANNOT BORROW IT FROM ANOTHER.

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT

PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
