ISAIAH 22 - ENEMIES OF ISRAEL ARE PREPARING FOR WAR!

Father, Son & Holy Spirit led me with eyes closed to Isaiah 22 for the 6th time (MAN). THIS IS THE 7th CONSECUTIVE DAY I WAS SHOWN SCRIPTURES PERTAINING TO CURRENT EVENTS IN THE ISRAEL & THE MIDDLE EAST.

ISAIAH PROPHESIED ELAM (Iran), KIR (Cush - Ethiopia/Sudan), AND ASSYRIA (Syria, Iraq, Iran & Turkey) ARE SET IN OFFENSIVE ARRAY AT THE GATE OF JERUSALEM .. THEY HAVE "UNCOVERED THE SHIELD" (they are preparing for war).

ISAIAH SAW THAT JERUSALEM WILL DISCOVER WEAKNESSES IN HER ABILITY TO DEFEND HERSELF & WILL MAKE EFFORTS TO SHORE UP HER FORTIFICATIONS.

GOD EXPECTS HIS PEOPLE TO REMEMBER THEIR COVENANT WITH HIM & HOW HE MIRACULOUSLY RESCUED THEM FROM SLAVERY IN EGYPT .. TO SEEK HIS HELP IN THIS SITUATION TOO .. TO NOT RELY UPON THEIR OWN WEAPONS OF WAR.

OTHERWISE, GOD'S ANGER WILL BE KINDLED AGAINST JERUSALEM'S LEADERSHIP & HE WILL LIFT HIS HAND OF PROTECTION FOR A TIME TO REMIND HIS PEOPLE THAT VICTORY IS ONLY FOUND IN HIM.

ISAIAH WEPT BECAUSE HE SAW THAT HIS PEOPLE WERE PARTYING & FEASTING WHEN THEY SHOULD BE WEEPING & MOURNING OVER THE SPIRITUAL CONDITION OF JERUSALEM .. "for the Lord of Hosts has a day" .. AND "THAT DAY" IS QUICKLY APPROACHING!!!

PRAY FOR AWAKENING! PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM! PRAY THAT GOD'S PEOPLE TURN TO HIM FOR VICTORY INSTEAD OF TRUSTING ONLY IN THEIR MILITARY MIGHT! PRAY THAT WICKED LEADERS ARE REMOVED IN ISRAEL & REPLACED WITH THOSE IN ALIGNMENT WITH GOD!

"You who are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous and exultant city? [O Jerusalem] your slain warriors have not met [a glorious] death with the sword or in battle.

All your [military] leaders have fled together; without the bow [which they had thrown away] they have been taken captive and bound by the archers. All of you who were found were bound together [as captives], though they had fled far away.

For it is a day of discomfiture and of tumult, of treading down, of confusion and perplexity from the Lord God of hosts in the Valley of Vision, a day of breaking down the walls and of crying to the mountains.

And [in my vision I saw] Elam take up the quiver, with troops in chariots, infantry, and horsemen; and Kir [with Elam subject to Assyria] uncovered the shield.

And it came to pass that your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen took their station [and set themselves in offensive array at the gate of Jerusalem].

Then [God] removed the protective covering of Judah; and you looked to the weapons in the House of the Forest [the king's armory] in that day.

You saw that the breaches [in the walls] of the City of David [the citadel of Zion] were many .. and you broke down the houses [to get materials] to fortify the [city] wall .. but you did not look to the Maker of it, nor did you recognize Him Who planned it long ago.

And in that day the Lord God of hosts called you to weeping and mourning, to the shaving off of all your hair [in humiliation] and to the girding with sackcloth.

But instead, see the pleasure and mirth, slaying oxen and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine, [with the idea] Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!

And the Lord of hosts revealed Himself in my ears [as He said], Surely this unatoned sin shall not be purged from you until [you are punished-and the punishment will be] death, says the Lord God of hosts.

"Come, go to this [contemptible] steward and treasurer, to Shebna ..

Behold, the Lord will hurl you away violently, O you strong man; yes, He will take tight hold of you and He will surely cover you [with shame].

He will surely roll you up in a bundle [Shebna] and toss you like a ball into a large country; there you will die and there will be your splendid chariots, you disgrace to your master's house!

And I will thrust you from your office, and from your station will you be pulled down."

When I posted today's message and scripture on X, I received a timestamp of 12:48 .. Psalm 124:8 is confirmation.

"Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth."

TODAY IS 5/8/25.

5 is GRACE (for God's people to repent & turn to the Lord for help)

8 is NEW BEGINNINGS (we are on the precipice of change)

5 + 8 is 13 .. which is REBELLION

When I started today's blog post, Blogger noted the time was 5:40. This led me to Micah 5:4 which confirms today's scripture & message. I am including verses 3 - 15 .. verse 4 is underlined.

“Therefore shall He give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth; then what is left of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel. And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; and they shall dwell [secure], for then shall He be great [even] to the ends of the earth.  

And this [One] shall be our peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads upon our soil and in our palaces, then will we raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes among men.  

And they shall rule and waste the land of Assyria with the sword and the land of Nimrod within her [Assyria's own] gates. Thus shall He [the Messiah] deliver us from the Assyrian [representing the opposing powers] when he comes into our land and when he treads on our borders. Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the Lord, like showers upon the grass which [come suddenly and] tarry not for man nor wait for the sons of men. 

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations in the midst of many peoples like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion [suddenly appearing] among the flocks of sheep which, when it goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is no deliverer. Your hand will be lifted up above your adversaries, and all your enemies shall be cut off. And in that day, says the Lord, I will cut off your horses [on which you depend] from among you and will destroy your chariots. 

And I will cut off the cities of your land and throw down all your strongholds. And I will cut off witchcrafts and sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no more soothsayers. Your carved images also I will cut off and your statues or pillars out of your midst, and you shall no more worship the work of your hands. And I will root out your Asherim [symbols of the goddess Asherah] and I will destroy your cities [the seats of false worship]. 

And in anger and wrath I will execute vengeance upon the nations which would not obey [vengeance such as they have not heard of before].”

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT

PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
