LUKE 4 - IT IS FINISHED!!!

With my eyes closed... Father, Son & Holy Spirit led me to Luke 4 for the 3rd time (PERFECT COMPLETION).

JESUS CAME TO NAZARETH & ENTERED THE SYNAGOGUE ON SABBATH DAY. HE OPENED THE SCROLL & READ THE FIRST PART OF ISAIAH'S PROPHECY.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save his people."

Luke 4:18-19 GNT

THEN HE IDENTIFIED HIMSELF AS THE MESSIAH, THE ANOINTED ONE, THE SON OF GOD.

"Jesus rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. All the people in the synagogue had their eyes fixed on him, as he said to them, "This passage of scripture has come true today, as you heard it being read." They were all well impressed with him and marveled at the eloquent words that he spoke. They said, "Isn't he the son of Joseph?""

THE PORTION OF ISAIAH 61 JESUS DID NOT READ THAT DAY .. IS FOR NOW.

"To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion-to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit-that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. Aliens shall stand [ready] and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But you shall be called the priests of the Lord; people will speak of you as the ministers of our God. You shall eat the wealth of the nations, and the glory [once that of your captors] shall be yours. Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs. For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them. And their offspring shall be known among the nations and their descendants among the peoples. All who see them [in their prosperity] will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as [surely as] the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring forth, so [surely] the Lord God will cause rightness and justice and praise to spring forth before all the nations [through the self-fulfilling power of His word]."

WHAT A POWERFUL MESSAGE ON RESURRECTION DAY! JESUS' MINISTRY ON EARTH WAS ONE OF GRACE & FAVOR. BUT NOW IS THE TIME FOR GOD'S JUDGMENT .. A DOUBLE PORTION OF FAVOR FOR HIS CHILDREN .. AND VENGEANCE UPON HIS ENEMIES!!!

IT IS FINISHED!!!

When I posted today's scripture & message on X, I received a timestamp of 11:00 (11) 👀👀 and today's date adds up to 13 (4+2+2+5) .. REBELLION.

THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 11 = GOD'S JUDGMENT FALLS UPON DISORDER, DISINTEGRATION, THINGS FALLING APART, TRANSITION, 11th HOUR, GOD RECOGNIZES THE FAITHFULNESS OF HIS PEOPLE, NOTABLE ACTS OF SELFLESS SERVICE.

TODAY IS APRIL 20. THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 20 = WAITING & EXPECTANCY .. THE NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH PRAYER & EXPECTING GOD TO DO SOMETHING BIG. IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROPHETIC. GOD HAS ORDERED SOMETHING & WE ARE GOING THROUGH THE PROCESS ASSOCIATED WITH ITS MANIFESTATION.

Psalm 11 is also CONFIRMATION!!!

“The Lord is my fortress! Don't say to me, “Escape like a bird to the mountains!” You tell me, “Watch out! Those evil people have put their arrows on their bows, and they are standing in the shadows, aiming at good people. What can an honest person do when everything crumbles?” The Lord is sitting in his sacred temple on his throne in heaven. He knows everything we do because he sees us all. The Lord tests honest people, but despises those who are cruel and love violence. He will send fiery coals and flaming sulfur down on the wicked, and they will drink nothing but a scorching wind. The Lord always does right and wants justice done. Everyone who does right will see his face.”

When I started today's blog entry, Blogger noted the time was 11:57. This led me to John 11:57 .. I am including verses 49 - 57 for context.

“One of the council members was Caiaphas, who was also high priest that year. He spoke up and said, “You people don't have any sense at all! Don't you know it is better for one person to die for the people than for the whole nation to be destroyed?” Caiaphas did not say this on his own. As high priest that year, he was prophesying that Jesus would die for the nation. Yet Jesus would not die just for the Jewish nation. He would die to bring together all of God's scattered people. From that day on, the council started making plans to put Jesus to death. Because of this plot against him, Jesus stopped going around in public. He went to the town of Ephraim, which was near the desert, and he stayed there with his disciples. It was almost time for Passover. Many of the Jewish people who lived out in the country had come to Jerusalem to get themselves ready for the festival. They looked around for Jesus. Then when they were in the temple, they asked each other, “You don't think he will come here for Passover, do you?” The chief priests and the Pharisees told the people to let them know if any of them saw Jesus. This is how they hoped to arrest him.”

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT

PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
