ISAIAH 17 - GOD'S JUDGMENT AGAINST SYRIA

Father, Son & Holy Spirit led me with eyes closed to Isaiah 17 for the 3rd time (THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 3 IS PERFECT COMPLETION, FULLNESS .. ACCORDING TO PASTOR TROY BREWER'S STUDY, ISAIAH MENTIONS 3 TIMES THAT THE WICKED WILL HAVE NO PEACE IN Isaiah 48:22, 57:21 & 59:8).

ISAIAH PROPHESIES GOD'S JUDGMENT AGAINST SYRIA .. THAT DAMASCUS, ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL & ANCIENT CITIES WILL BE REDUCED TO A HEAP OF RUINS. SYRIA HAS REPEATEDLY ATTACKED ISRAEL OVER LAND IN THE GOLAN HEIGHTS WITH THE AIM OF RECLAIMING IT .. BUT IT IS PART OF THE PROMISED LAND, IT BELONGS TO ISRAEL & THEY WILL NOT RELINQUISH IT.

PROPHECY IS UNFOLDING AS KING ASSAD HAS BEEN DEPOSED & CONFLICT BETWEEN ISRAEL AND SYRIA HAS ERUPTED.

AT THE SAME TIME, THE LORD IS CLEANSING ISRAEL OF ALL IDOLATRY AND THINGS THEY HAVE TRUSTED IN OTHER THAN HIM .. HE IS TURNING THE EYES OF HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE BACK TO THEIR MAKER.

THEIR ONLY HOPE OF VICTORY OVER THEIR ENEMIES IS IN HIM .. THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC & JACOB. GOD WILL JUDGE ALL THE NATIONS THAT RUSH AGAINST ISRAEL. IT IS WRITTEN.

A PROPHECY ABOUT DAMASCUS

'This is God's message for Damascus:

"Behold, Damascus is gone! It is no longer a city, only a heap of rubble.

Her ruins will be abandoned— left for flocks to lie down in with nothing to fear.

Damascus will lose the power of her fortress, and the strongholds of the northern kingdom will disappear. The remnant of Syria will be like Israel— stripped of its glory," says the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies.

"On that day, the beautiful splendor of Jacob's northern tribes will be brought low, and they will become like skin and bones.

It will be as when a farmer harvests the standing grain and gathers armloads of grain, and as one gathers ears of grain in the Valley of Giants.

Yet some gleanings will remain, as when an olive tree is shaken, leaving two or three olives in the highest branches and four or five on its fruitful branches," declares Lord Yahweh, the God of Israel.

In that day, people will gaze toward their Creator, and their eyes will look in faith toward the Holy One of Israel.

They will not be infatuated with the religious altars their own hands crafted, nor by what their own fingers have made, nor with their sacred groves or altars of incense.

On that day their bustling cities will become deserted like those conquered by the Israelites— abandoned to thickets and undergrowth, it will all become desolate. For you have ignored and forgotten the God who saves you and have not remembered your Rock of Safety. So what do you do? You cultivate your beautiful gardens and plant imported vines.

Even if on the day you plant them they begin to grow, and even if immediately you see them bud, your harvest will wither away in a day of grief and agony."

THE UPROAR OF THE NATIONS

"Ah, the thunder of many people joining together! They roar like the roar of the sea. Woe to the uproar of the many nations! They thunder like the crashing of ocean waves.

The nations are roaring like the roar of a massive waterfall, but when God rebukes them they disperse like chaff on the mountains, like a tumbleweed whirling in the wind.

In the evening—behold, sudden terror! Before the morning comes, they vanish! Such is the fate of those who plunder and try to rob us.'

This was revealed to me on March 9 (THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 9 IS: JUDGMENT). If you add the numbers of today's date 3/9/25 it comes to 19 (THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF 19 IS: GOD HAS ORDERED JUDGMENT).

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT

PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
