ISAIAH 29 - GOD'S JUDGMENT & RESTORATION OF JERUSALEM

 For the 3rd time (PERFECT COMPLETION), Holy Spirit led me to Isaiah 29.

ARIEL (Jerusalem, self-proclaimed Lion of God) .. THE PLACE WHERE KING DAVID DWELT.. PROUD & RESTING ON HER SPIRITUAL HERITAGE... SPIRITUALLY BLIND & SPIRITUALLY DRUNK BECAUSE OF PRIDE.. UNABLE TO RECOGNIZE HER CURRENT CONDITION.

BECAUSE OF SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS, GOD'S PEOPLE CANNOT READ OR DISCERN HIS WORD .. THEY DRAW NEAR TO GOD WITH THEIR MOUTHS & HONOR THE LORD WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEARTS 💕 ARE FAR FROM HIM .. THEIR HEARTS RESPOND TO MEN, BUT NOT TO GOD. THEY HAVE LOST THE FEAR OF THE LORD. GOD DID NOT REMOVE HIMSELF FROM THEM. THEY REMOVED THEMSELVES FROM GOD.

ISAIAH PROPHESIES THAT GOD WILL DISTRESS ARIEL.. THAT IN ITS PRIDE SEES ITSELF AS A LION.. BY SENDING WARFARE AGAINST HER WITH THE FEROCITY OF A LION. AND AFTER HUMBLING HER & AWAKENING HER, HE WILL REVERSE THE SPIRITUAL ILLITERACY OF HIS PEOPLE. AND THE DEAF WILL HEAR & THE BLIND WILL SEE... AND THEIR JOY WILL BE IN THE LORD.

NOT ONLY DOES GOD PROMISE TO RESTORE HIS PEOPLE .. EVEN THE LOST TRIBES OF ISRAEL SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED .. BUT HE ALSO PROMISES TO BRING JUSTICE UPON THE WICKED!!!

"Jerusalem, city of David, the place of my altar, you are in for trouble! Celebrate your festivals year after year. I will still make you suffer, and your people will cry when I make an altar of you. I will surround you and prepare to attack from all sides. From deep in the earth, you will call out for help with only a faint whisper.

Then your cruel enemies will suddenly be swept away like dust in a windstorm. I, the Lord All-Powerful, will come to your rescue with a thundering earthquake and a fiery whirlwind.

Every brutal nation that attacks Jerusalem and makes it suffer will disappear like a dream when night is over. Those nations that attack Mount Zion will suffer from hunger and thirst. They will dream of food and drink but wake up weary and hungry and thirsty as ever.

Be shocked and stunned, you prophets! Refuse to see. Get drunk and stagger, but not from wine. The Lord has made you drowsy; he put you into a deep sleep and covered your head.

 Now his message is like a sealed letter to you. Some of you say, "We can't read it, because it's sealed. Others say, "We can't read it, because we don't know how to read. The Lord has said: 

"These people praise me with their words, but they never really think about me. They worship me by repeating rules made up by humans. So once again I will do things that shock and amaze them, and I will destroy the wisdom of those who claim to know and understand."

You are in for trouble, if you try to hide your plans from the Lord! Or if you think what you do in the dark can't be seen. You have it all backwards. A clay dish doesn't say to the potter, "You didn't make me. You don't even know how.

Soon the forest of Lebanon will become a field with crops, thick as a forest. The deaf will be able to hear whatever is read to them; the blind will be freed from a life of darkness. The poor and the needy will celebrate and shout because of the Lord, the holy God of Israel.

All who are cruel and arrogant will be gone forever. Those who live by crime will disappear, together with everyone who tells lies in court and keeps innocent people from getting a fair trial.

The Lord who rescued Abraham has this to say about Jacob's descendants: "They will no longer be ashamed and disgraced. When they see how great I have made their nation, they will praise and honor me, the holy God of Israel. Everyone who is confused will understand, and all who have complained will obey my teaching."

When I started today's blog entry, Blogger noted the time was 1:40 (14 = FEAR OF THE LORD, GOD'S SPIRIT IS PERFECTING SOMETHING & HE WILL TAKE DRASTIC MEASURES TO MAKE SOMETHING RIGHT!)

TO CHOOSE LIFE IS TO CHOOSE JESUS!!! HE LOVES YOU AND IS EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION & TO ASK HIM TO BE YOUR LORD & SAVIOR. THE BIBLE SAYS WE MUST CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD TO BE SAVED FOR ALL ETERNITY. 

"And what is God's "living message?" It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. The heart that believes in him receives the gift of righteousness of God - and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: "Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed." Romans 10:9-11 TPT

PRAY THIS PRAYER ALOUD WITH YOUR VOICE TO RECEIVE JESUS' FREE GIFT OF SALATION & INVITE HIM TO BE THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE:

Jesus, I come to you asking forgiveness of my sins. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins, that You took my punishment & paid the price I could not pay for eternal salvation. I believe that you were raised on the 3rd day and are now seated at the right hand of God the Father. I receive Your free gift of salvation and I ask You to be the Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. Thank you for saving me & making me righteous before God.
